In roughly 8 weeks we will be welcoming a new little Grothe man into our family. We are thrilled to meet our new little guy. I told Daniel the other day while we were enjoying a peaceful dinner out, with both our kids, that we are getting ready to disrupt this flow we have going. For the most part our daily routines are pretty normal. Wilson is almost 2.5 and Lillian will be 5 in May. We are able to do a lot of fun activities and that will be adjusted again as we welcome a little baby. Its fun and exciting, but also a bit of a reality check. Name? Not finalized yet-Daniel is really pushing for Wakley (my maiden name). I like it, just having to chew on it for awhile.
Wilson loves to make "cheesy" faces
Lillian almost always has on her dancing shoes
Little man Grothe-about 31 weeks/8 months
Daniel is now the pastor of theMILL which is the college/20ish somethings that meet on Friday night. Daniel has been working with this group for 3+ years prior to this transition as an associate pastor. We are so humbled and honored to be a part of such an amazing group. Last Friday night I looked around at all of these people worshiping God and just felt so thankful to be a part. It has definitely been an adjustment in some ways and then in other ways it felt totally natural.
I hope to get back in a more regular groove of updating the blog. I feel like once I miss for awhile it feels so hard to get back into it. Not because I don't want to but just where do I start? So I am starting with the present...what more can I do. Maybe I will back track more later.
